I'm a performer and I played a wedding there last month. Beautiful place and the staff were amazing and helped me and got me set up fast.

My name is Drew owner of Next Level DJ's. I highly recommend Novella's! It is my personal favorite venue to work at in the Hudson Valley. The food and desserts are OUTSTANDING! The entire staff is fantastic to work with and really go out of their way to make your event extra special. I would highly recommend a visit. If you do book, you can rest easy that you will be taken care of every step of the way

The Delphic Fraternity had our annual reunion weekend dinner at the Grille at Novella's. The location was excellent, the service was amazing, and the food was just absolutely delicious! Our host, Cheryl did an incredible job managing all the personalities in our group. Thank you Cheryl and thanks Novella for an awesome time!

I had my daughter's sweet 16 birthday party and this place was absolutely amazing. The food was great. Megan and all of the staff helped me organize all of the details and coordinating the breakdown of times for dancing,cake,dinner, etc... throughout the event in a fun and professional way. Pictures do not do justice you have to go and look for yourself. I highly recommend this place for any event.

The food was amazing! The bartender was great! Definitely a new favorite in New Paltz!

Had my daughter's Sweet Sixteen party there, I just want to say it was "PERFECT". I highly recommend having any occasions there. The place is beautiful, the food is excellent. Location is great, near the thruway for those who need to find it in a split second. The owner Dawn, is an absolute sweetheart and very personable person. She will work with you with everything. I had two guest that were gluten free and she made sure they were able enjoy everything with all my other guest. I was very happy, so was my daughter and my guests. If you have a party to do, this is the place. SHOUTOUT TO DAWN: AWESOME TIME!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH.

This place is absolutely superb, and that still feels like an understatement. I was in town from Portland, OR and needed to book a reservation for a special occasion. I initially tried booking reservations at several other places, but they were all closed for winter break. Novellas was my final option for something that had potential (having never eaten there before). Now I lived in New Paltz for several years and have a pretty good idea of what the dining options are like in the area (not bad, not phenomenal).

In my opinion, this place wipes the floor with everything else in the area and having done much travel, is one of the best places I've eaten in a while. Everything was cooked to perfection, perfect portions, timing, plating, etc. There was not one aspect of the entire meal that I could say was subpar.

If you're looking for something with a romantic and classy vibe, this place is it. It's a very good blend of casual and upper class. The person I was with has been a professional chef for the better part of 15 years and this was the first meal I've had with them where they didn't have to salt / season anything. They feel exactly the way I do about the experience and that's pretty impressive, considering they're able to find some minor flaw with wherever we have eaten (not in a 'we want to complain about it' way, but when you work with food you can't help but judge most of what you're eating).

Also, Ryan was our server that night. He was awesome, upbeat, and a pleasure to deal with. In regards to the chef, whoever you are, you're bringing some next level food to an area that needs it. Keep it up!

Place was great! The staff were friendly and attentive. The maitre d Christine was exceptional!
